cousins

While we were in Utah Jade LOVED playing with her cousins. Adelle got to meet lots of her aunties and uncles. It was so great to be in Utah for a week so that we didn't feel rushed and we could see everyone that we wanted to see.

Rilyn got a new makeup kit and did Jade and T's makeup almost daily

I'M FINALLY DONE!!

9 years ago I started school at BYU-Idaho. After two short semesters I transferred to BYU Provo and got married. Soon after Dan got into the University of Michigan for grad school so we were off to live in Michigan for two years. When we moved I looked into schools in Michigan for me to continue taking classes. With the transfer of credits, I quickly found that it would not be worth it for me to go to school in Michigan, especially because I knew we were only going to be there for such a short time and then would have to try to transfer again to another school. I heard about the Bachelor of General studies program that BYU has and thought it would be perfect for me. You can take all of your classes through independent studies and get your degree! (this totally sounds like a commercial for BGS, which by the way look out because I might actually be in their new commercials) You have to be away from BYU for 2 years before you can enroll. So I just worked and supported our family while Dan finished school. I remember when my two years were up and I was able to enroll in my first class. I was SO excited to get back into school. At this point I still had around 70 credits before graduation. At the beginning I didn't really see my self actually finishing. I just wanted to just keeping taking classes and see what would happen. After 6 LONG years I'm finally done!!!!!!!!!! There were many many times when I second guessed what I was doing. Ever time I clicked buy on another class I struggled. I just took it one class at a time and only worked on my classes when Jade was napping. Slow and steady. We just came home from Utah were I was able to walk alongside my sister-in-law and two of my brother-in-laws. I'm so glad that I stuck with it and finished. I NEVER thought this day would come and I'm so glad that it's over. It still hasn't hit me that I'm done and I don't really know now what to do to fill my free time throughout the day. Here are some pictures of the happy day!
