Pier

Last weekend my dad was in town so we went to the Santa Monica pier. Jade was so brave and went on many rides. She even went on the BIG trampoline. And here are some more pictures from the last couple of weeks!

Adelle is 6 months next week and I haven't even blogged about her at 4 months. You would think I would be much better about blogging now that I have so much free time because I'm done with school. Like I have said so many times, Adelle is an angle baby. With whatever we are doing she just goes along for the ride. She never cries and is just a happy and content baby. Just the other day I was on a run while pushing both kids in the stroller and I looked down and her hat was completely covering her eyes and she didn't even make a peep. She now is rolling all over the house and enjoys getting to new places around the apartment. She LOVES her big sister. Everytime I look in my mirror while driving her little head is falling forward and she is looking as far as she can to her right just to watch Jade. Jade can just walk by and she will start to giggle uncontrollably. Jade is starting to play with her more too and I can see that soon they will be best friends. I'm looking forward to the day that they will both play together. At Adelle's 4 month check up the doctor noticed that she has torticollis. This is where her neck is slightly crooked. It is from not having enough room in my tummy and her neck muscles are tight and she prefers to lean her head to one side. We have been going to physical therapy for over a month and it's so much better. We have to stretch her neck throughout the day. Next week we will be in Sacramento and she will get to start solids. Jade is very excited for her to start eating baby food. She still has no teeth but I think that will not be for long. Jade trying to breastfeed Adelle Adelle in her carseat looking at Jade

Jade is 3!

Jade recently turned 3 and she wanted to have a baking birthday party. This year was fun because she really understood that it was her birthday. Here was pictures from her party. On her actual birthday we surprised her with breakfast in bed and dinner at Goofy's kitchen. We have been wanting to go there for a long time and we all loved it! What more could Jade want than all you can eat and her favorite Disney carachters. Adelle had fun too! Don't worry, we didn't let her eat all of that dessert! Jade is such a fun and energetic little girl. She loves to sing and dance and be crazy. She had recently been taking swimming lessons and has been doing great. She is so smart and can already read most 3 letter words. She is such a good example to us. She will not take a bite of food until we have said prayers and at dinner she will not start eating until we are reading scriptures. We read a chapter every night and she beggs us to read more when the chapter in done. She listens and after a couple of verses she makes us then tell her what it means. She remembers everything too. She loves to go to the library and to pick out new books. We signed up for a summer reading program at our library 3 days ago and after 5 hours of reading you can get a prize and she only needs an hour left! If it were up to her she would have us read to her all day long. She still takes a 2 1/2 nap every day and is such a great helper. We love you Jade!

Daddy daughter camping

Actually, it was the father sons camp out but that wasn't going to stop Dan from bringing Jade. I could tell they had a blast from how dirty she was when she came home. Of course the s'mores were her favorite part! She is already talking about going again.
