6 MONTHS!

Jade is now 6 months!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe how fast that went by.
Some things about Jade at 6 months-

• weighs 16 pounds
  

• She LOVES eating baby cereal. The first bite she swallowed right down and then leaned in and grabbed the spoon for more.
• She loves to hear herself so she is always making little noises.
  
• When she is bored or mad she grunts until I give her a new toy.
• Every morning I find her in the opposite corner of the crib from where I put her down and on her tummy.
• she sleeps 11-12 hours at night and 3 naps
  
• She can put her paci back in her mouth which I'm so thankful for.
• Grandma taught her how to stick her tongue out and now she does it all the time.
• She loves being out and about watching people.(mall, grocery store)
• When we travel which has been a lot (already 16 plane rides) she has a hard first couple of days and only will let mommy hold her.
• LOVES the bath and her bath toys
• cries when she finishes her bottle no matter how many ounces I give her
• loves the baby bjorn
• so cuddly
• loves her blanket
• kicks her legs like crazy when she is excited
• loves playing with aunt stevie
• 

She is so cute and we love her soooo much!

I had to add these cute pics that I took of Jade this morning...She is getting cuter by the second. She also turns 6 months next week!!!

Okay...so on to the premiere. So my pictures turned out horrible. But oh well you can at least kinda tell it was them. We decided to just stop by because Dan's office is just 2 blocks from the theater. We have been to many movie premieres there before but nothing was like this. It was CRAZY! Tons of people camped out for 5 days just to see the stars. It was nice for me because I just showed up when it started and most of the people in front of me were short so I could still see just fine.

Happy Halloween

We were able to be in Utah for Halloween this year. I don't have time to write but I wanted to post these pics of Jade and Claire so that Nichole could see them. We just got home this morning and tomorrow we are off to PuertoVallarta!

Halloween BUNCO and cake pops!!

I hosted bunco last week and I was able to try out a lot of new recipes!! The ghost brownies are super easy. You put a marshmallow over the brownie and pour melted frosting over. The eyes and mouth are made with black decorating frosting. The cake pops were actually really easy. The hardest part was melting the chocolate but I finally got it to work. At first I was trying to use just regular white chocolate chips and they would not melt smooth. Now I know why it's so important to buy melting chocolate.
We had lots of fun so thanks to everyone for coming!!

BEST FRIENDS!

Jade is so lucky to have lots of friends her age in our ward!! They are going to be great friends!

ROLLOVER

Jade has been rolling from her back to her stomach for almost a month now but yesterday was the first time she went from her stomach to her back and it was the first time I was able to catch it on video. Now hopefully in the middle of the night we won't have to flip her over when she accidentally rolls on her tummy.

Halloween!!

We are super excited for Halloween this year!! I just bought Jade a costume and she is going to be this ELEPHANT!!

The other day she fell asleep in the car and I found her holding on to her toy. She always has to be clutching something in her hands!

The Sleep Easy Solution

So I was in Sacramento babysitting my sisters and I decided it would be the perfect time to sleep train Jade. It was great because I didn't have to worry about keeping the neighbors up all night. Well I'm happy to report that Jade did great!! It was only one night of crying for 20 min and now I just put her in her crib for naps and bed and say goodnight and that is it. No more crying and no running in to put the paci in a million times. I recommend The Sleep Easy Solution! I love that book. She takes 3 naps a day the first two are usually 2 hours and the last one an hour and then she sleeps 11-12 hours at night. She is the BEST!!

4 month pics

So I got pictures taken of Jade the other day at the Target studios. It was super cheap and they turned out great. I don't have a scanner so I just took pictures of them. Sorry the quality is so bad! Grandmas and aunties expect some to come in the mail soon!
