So we are almost finished with the Jade's room which is good because I just found out that I will be induced Wed the 27th which is my sister Chandler's birthday. They will start me with 12 hours of cirvidil, so I probably won't end up having her until Thursday. I'm SOOOOO excited a week still seems too long to wait. My doctor suggested that Dan and I go to a restaurant with no highchairs allowed and go see a couple of movies before the big day. I was 1 cm dilated and 60% effaced and her head was in -2 station. The doc thinks it will be a pretty easy labor so I'm hoping that she's right. I'm not too uncomfortable yet just anxious to meet her. Here are some pics of her room. I still need to get a bumper and we need to hang some more stuff on the wall but this is what it pretty much will look like. I also put in a pic of her cute cradle that she will be sleeping in for the first while. Thanks to Ellen for the crib, and lots of the stuff in the room!!!

I LOVE the craddle!! The room is adorable, you did such a great job! I remember after I decorated Boston's room I would just want to sit in there all day. I can't believe you are getting induced next week!! That's crazy exciting! Mark and I will actually be in Sacramento then. I wish they weren't so far apart because we can't wait to meet her. I really hope the labor goes well and she is healthy and that you'll decide to make the trip to Utah for July 4th. At least now you know she will be almost 6 weeks old by then. I'm probably not the best person to ask because I took Boston everywhere as a newborn. When he was only 2 weeks old we took him to a 3-day family reunion with over a hundred people touching and holding him and he still stayed perfectly healthy. Plus the great thing about them when they're so small is that they travel so easy so I hope you'll really consider it. Well good luck girl!!

Yeah! Oh my gosh!I am so excited for you! All the stuff is so great. A week! That's so soon! Sleep while you can because in a week, your sleep will end for the rest of your life! You have to post pictures asap when she arrives! I hope it all goes well for you. I had to have an episiotomy and tore to a 4 because his head was crooked and the cord was around his neck. Hopefully yours goes better than that. I had to sit on a blow up donut forever. even on my couch! Labor is crazy, especially after when you see your parts.....but it is amazingly worth it, and can't wait to do it again! Good luck!
