VOTE FOR AFTON

Hey everyone tonight I get to go to the taping of Dancing with the stars to watch my cousin afton dance. Please everyone vote for her I would love for her to make it so that she can live close to me!!

 Baby update:

  I had my 35 week appointment today and my uterus is only measuring 30 weeks so I'm ordered to be on partial bedrest(which isn't bad I just have to lay on my left side for at least 3 hours during the day) and I have to get a non stress test twice a week until the babe comes.  They estimate that she will low 6 pounds. It's so crazy that I only have 5 more weeks!!! Tomorrow is my baby shower so I will post some pics from it soon!

VEGAS 32 weeks!

We went to vegas for the weekend with our friends Taryn and Ryan. Taryn did a great post already with pictures so instead of writing it all again check out her page.

The last days ended kinda sucky for Dan and I because we had to miss phantom and we had to go to the hospital. I started to get contractions and they would not stop. I couldn't tell when they were starting or stopping it was just super super tight continuously.  My doctor told me to go straight to the hospital but I even tried laying down and they were much better but still wouldn't stop. I knew I wasn't in labor but we decided to be safe and go in.  The baby was fine but after being hooked up to monitors for 2 hours they had to give me meds to stop the contractions because they just kept coming. They weren't dilating me which was the good news.  I'm still taking them until Friday when I see my doctor here in LA. Hopefully they won't make me go on bedrest. Today has been much better though.  Luckily my sister Chandler is in town to help me watch Ella.  But I can tell the medicine really helps when it starts to wear off they start coming back.  Chan brought her camera so here is the latest picture. Sorry that I keep posting these lame belly shots but with no computer or camera to save them it's my only way to keep them for the future. 

  Oh and I forgot to mention that the doctor gave me a sleeping pill the night of the hospital visit and I guess it made me go crazy. I don't remember anything but dan will be glad to share all of the funny things that i was saying and doing. 

30 WEEKS!

So my dad was in town and we met him for dinner last night and I thought I should take advantage of his I phone while we were with him because we still don't have a camera or a computer. So this is the best pic I could get for now.  I think we have found a new place and things look okay for getting out of our lease. The worst is that we will loose our security deposit. But since my last post we found out that our renters insurance will only cover $2,500 which will only pretty much cover dan's work laptop and all the software that was on it. Oh well...who needs a computer or a wedding ring anyway? 

Within the last week I have had many people comment on my belly which I'm still getting use to.  It's nice though that I actually look pregnant and not just have a wider midsection.  The first lady to ever say anything to me was at the pharmacy and she said oh how many months are you 3? I'm already starting to feel like there is no more room for the baby. I don't know how everyone gets so big. It seems like it's impossible for your body. 

We are super busy until the baby comes which will hopefully make the time fly by.  We are going to Vegas next weekend with some friends from the ward, and then Chandler will visit for a week. After will be my baby shower so the fam will be in town and then Nichole comes the next week.  Not to mention moving sometime in between.

So it's about time to post some more pics but it's going to be a while longer.  Dan's parents came into town this weekend and we went to pick them up Friday night at the airport. When we got home I opened the apartment door and found that it was unlocked. I kept saying that it was soo weird because I specifically remember Dan locking the door. We never leave it unlocked.  I went into my room and saw all of my purses dumped out all over the floor and I knew right away what had happened. The first thing I did was run to where I had left my wedding ring. It was GONE! I knew it would have been.  We had just gone to the gym before the airport and I never wear them to workout.  

They also got our laptop with all of our pictures, our new camera, Dan's work laptop, the xbox, and two cell phones.  That's all that we have found missing so far. We luckily have renters insurance but I think they won't pay much back for jewelry. Dan says we will no longer live in this apartment so he's trying to get out of our lease. We need a more secure building. The funny thing is we picked this place because my relief society president has lived there for like 10 years and said it was very safe.  I guess that means one more move before the baby is born which I'm not looking forward to at all!! 

I'll post a pic of me sometime but it will be hard with no camera or computer.  I had my 28 week appointment last week and my uterus is measuring way small so they think she will be a little baby.  Hopefully she will put on some pounds in these last couple of months!

24 weeks

Here's the pics that everyone has been asking me about. I wore the same shirt as last month so you could see the difference a little better. To prove that I am pregnant I took a picture of me sticking my stomach out as far as I could and then I look pregnant! Sometimes I go into a store and try to push it out the whole time to see if anyone will notice. It's been annoying cause at the gym I know people recognize me and I see them looking at my stomach they are probably wondering what's going on because I just keep getting thicker and thicker. I had to add a pic of the cutest little girl that I get to spend most of my days with...her name is Ella. She's the best!

5 MONTHS!!

I can't believe that I'm already 5 months!!!This has really gone by fast. I'm pretty much half way done. I kept thinking that I would totally be showing by 5 months and now I'm thinking that by 5 1/2 everyone will be able to tell. I'm at that stage where my middle is just getting thick but I don't look pregnant. It's really exciting and I'm looking forward for everyone to be able to tell.

I had my big ultrasound the other day where they measured everything on the baby. Dan was able to go because it was right across the street from his office. It was so cool to see everything being measured. Half way through I had to get up and walk around because she was so low and they needed her to move to measure my cervix. Everything is looking normal and the blood tests are all normal too. We feel so blessed that our baby is healthy so far.





I'm slowly starting to feel her kick. All the books that I have say to start counting how many times I feel her move each day!!! I'm lucky to feel something and know for sure that it was really even her. I'm sure soon enough that will happen. Dan sings to her all the time and has to have daddy daughter time already. He goes under the covers and talks to my stomach all quiet because I'm not allowed to her what they're talking about.

We are so excited and can't wait to meet her!!!

So if you haven't already heard I had my 16 week ultrasound on Tuesday and the doc said it's 80% chance a GIRL  of course I'm super excited.  It's kinda annoying that it's only 80%. Her little legs were in the way a lot of the time and that's why she wasn't 100% sure. I have to go in for a big 3D one in the next couple of weeks and then they will verify.  I'm still not really showing yet but I know it will be soon.  Dan was really excited too! He recently was getting his hopes up for a boy because his brother just had a boy and his sister just found out that she is going to have a boy so he wanted it to be the three stooges.  But he got over that fast. He did the cutest thing ever! When he came home the night we found out he had a huge bouquet of pink flowers!! He told me that he was sorry that they weren't for me but they were for baby Jade.  I already know she's going to be a daddy's girl!
